I designed sound for my first play in 2006. Since then I've designed over 100 musicals & plays, mostly in Chicago.    

I've earned awards, including 3 Joseph Jefferson awards and 4 more nominations. While the recognition is nice, the real reward is the time I've spent collaborating with wonderful artists.

I've carried my approach to theatrical sound design into my studio work as well. Whether I am editing sound for a film or a documentary or a podcast, my training as a dramaturg is a part of everything I do.
